Okay, they are more easily stored and aren't apt to roll off the shelves and crash on the floor, but otherwise, what is the benefit? Did they grown them in clear boxes or something? As they are all fairly uniform I take it that is how it was done.

My guess is they grow them in clear boxes, and the other benefit is they are easier to cut.
The novelty of it is another thing. I have never seen one before, but they are cool looking.

What is the point of this?????? I suppose it's awesome when you poke a hole and fill it with Vodka.
