Constipated Computer

I am using another computer to post this, my computer seems like it's constipated. I can't access a damn thing. It's slower than a constipated old man.

You probably have far too many temporary files clogging the system. One thing Windows does by default (and it annoys the hell out of me to no end) is assign far too much disk space for temp files.

In your IE browser, go to Tools>Internet Options and click the General tab. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click "Delete Files" and also check "Delete all offline content" when the second little window opens. The deletion process can take a while sometimes, so be patient. When that process finishes, in that same section, click "Settings". When you get there, move the slider all the way to the left. This will assign the minimum disk space (usually 1 mb) for temp files. Click "Ok", then exit. Restart your machine. See if it makes a difference.
