Grisly Discovery

Seems ironic that I spoke of bad local news yesterday:

A local woman was walking her dog late in the evening at a remote location near here. Her dog ran up ahead of her, and returned with a human arm in it's mouth.

A search of the area recovered human skeletal remains and a bra.

The attention has turned to a woman who disappeared from Carson City on November 10 2003.
Her blood spattered son was found wandering in a parking lot in Dayton, Nevada the same day.
He said his "mommy was dead" and the blood on him matched his mother's.

After the news aired last night, I drove to the general area where this discovery was made, and it is no wonder how this could have gone undetected for so long. It's about 8 miles away from my home, in a very sandy area of the desert.
There was a mobile command post and about 6 ATVs in the area.
It gives me the heebie jeebies.
