BOISE, Idaho - A hospital worker preparing a 22-month-old for a funeral home noticed the boy was breathing — more than an hour after he had been pronounced dead from drowning.Seems like everybody was told the boy was dead- except the boy himself. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5085797/?GT1=3391 Posted by dr at May 28, 2004 05:11 PM | TrackBack
It's not unheard of. There have been many cases where children (and more rarely, adults) have been *drowned* or *out in the cold* for long periods of time and were thought dead, but were revived and went on to live normal lives. I'm glad that nurse saw the boy was breathing before he was actually transported to the funeral home and they started embalming him or something. *shudders*
